Volunteers are Indispensable

By January 30, 2012January 26th, 2023No Comments

One of the largest blessings we receive at Miracle Hill is the thousands of hours our volunteers give to the ministry.  In the six months of July through December 2011 volunteers logged 37,474 hours for an averaged of over 6200 volunteer hours per month!  If you are part of that tremendous effort, thank YOU!   We could not have made it without you.

I don’t know if we could really put a value on volunteer time, but if we simply said an hour was worth $8.50 in savings from not having to hire someone to do the same work, then the past six months volunteers contributed over $318,500 in labor cost savings for the ministry!

Volunteers – it can’t be said enough:  THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Conversations on a Bench
January 22 from 3:00pm to January 23 at 3:00pm

Can you imagine being homeless in this frigid weather? For 24 hours straight, our CEO will sit on a bench, outside, with no provisions, engaging in conversations about homelessness and related topics with anyone who wants to talk, while live streaming to the internet.

Bring your questions or comments and join Ryan in person, or by livestream. And be sure to like, comment and share to help us spread the word about homelessness.
