About Transitional Housing

In 1995 Miracle Hill Ministries started providing limited transitional housing for guests exiting our programs. Since then, the need for transitional housing has exponentially grown in the Upstate, and we now offer affordable housing opportunities for all our adult shelters and programs. At Miracle Hill, we believe that living in community, along with having healthy mentoring relationships, protect and enhance higher success rates by providing a healthy environment for our guests as they transition to independence.

To be eligible for our transitional housing, the applicant must have successfully completed their time in one of our shelters or have graduated from one of our recovery programs. They must also be employed or ready to enter the workforce, remain clean and sober, and continue in close contact with a volunteer mentor. Additional requirements may apply.

Supplies

Donate Supplies

People in our shelters usually arrive with very few personal possessions—if any at all. You can help meet their basic needs by donating items like soap, toothpaste, shampoo, and other things directly to a shelter. Before you donate, we ask that you contact the shelter directly to determine our most current needs.
