Miracle Hill Children’s Home – A Foster Care Community

HISTORY: Tucked into the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains from 1957 to 2020, Miracle Hill Children’s Home cared for thousands of children in need of a loving home. These children who were abandoned, neglected, abused, or had parents who simply could not afford to care for them. Knowing that children thrive best in a loving family environment, Miracle Hill transitioned the property from a group care facility to a foster care community in 2020.

At Present: Today that same 136 acre property is a Foster Care Community comprised of seven large family homes capable of housing foster families with up to 3 biological children and 5 foster children. Families who choose to live and serve in this community are provided with housing and added resources such as a large playground, swimming pool, pavilion, soccer field, hiking trails, and a sweet small white chapel.

These loving, Christian foster families are considered domestic missionaries who minister to the hearts and minds of the children in their care – living out the Gospel of Jesus daily.
