As a child I remember learning to sing “Count your blessings, name them one by one; count your many blessings, see what God hath done.” (Johnson Oatman, Jr) As we move through this week of Thanksgiving, I hope you join all of us at Miracle Hill in thanking the Lord for what He has done!
Our busy lives can lead us to fly right by something special and not recognize God at work… Which means we probably did not pause to say “thank you” to the Lord for guiding, providing, protecting, comforting, healing, or _________ in a situation or circumstance. When we take time to reflect (view life in the rear-view mirror) then we often realize how God was present and active in our lives all along.
Recently I spent a few minutes reflecting over this past year and realized more and more how God has blessed Miracle Hill, and me personally, with the people He placed in our path. For the ministry, our clients, children, foster families, volunteers, donors, supporters, thrift store customers, ministry partners, local church families, and staff members have all been a tremendous blessing. On behalf of all of us at Miracle Hill, THANK YOU! We thank the Lord He placed you are in our lives.
