The date has been set. Plans have been made. Hundreds of men and women will be coming. You might be asking, “What have I missed, and can I still become a part of whatever is going on?”
Thursday night, November 14th is a special night for Miracle Hill Rescue Mission – Cherokee County because it is the night set aside for the annual fundraising banquet here in Cherokee County. The event will be held at the Broad River Electric Cooperative building where more than 500 guests are expected to attend.
Since November 2000, the Mission has provided food, clothing and shelter with compassion to more than 200 different men, women and children each year. The funds raised at this banquet will help offset the costs of providing a Christ-honoring environment to the hurting and homeless of Cherokee County.
The banquet will include a delicious sit-down dinner with special reports, testimonies, special music and a special speaker, Jim Morgan, CEO of Krispy Kreme. Throughout the evening, guests will learn how the Lord has been working at the Mission and will be challenged to become a partner through volunteering, praying, and giving to the ministry. Mr. Morgan will also share his powerful testimony – including his son’s battle with addiction.
If you would like to be a part of this special banquet, you can find the complete details online. Reservations can be made through Cindy Kelly at ckelly@miraclehill.org or by making reservations online at www.miraclehill.org
