Minister Larry’s story is a powerful testimony of God’s ability to transform a life that once seemed lost to addiction and hopelessness. Once a master mechanic at General Electric, Larry’s life was overtaken by drugs and alcohol, leading to twenty years of homelessness and living in abandoned houses and junkyards. Though he often promised himself he would change “tomorrow,” he discovered that real change only came when he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. Through the Overcomers Program, Larry realized that addiction was not his true identity and that in Christ he could become a new creation. Today, he lives under “new management,” sharing how God replaced shame with purpose and proving that true transformation is possible when a life is fully surrendered to the Lord.
