Thrift Fashion: Myth Buster #2

By June 20, 2014January 26th, 20232 Comments

Welcome to our next post on the topic of Thrift Fashion!

Thrift Myth #2:

Thrift = tired & worn-out apparel.

It is a common fear that – while you may find name-brand items at a low price in a thrift shop – the quality or condition will be less than stellar… used up, worn out, and moth eaten. And honestly, depending on your choice of thrift store, that could very well be true.

I submit to you an alternative – Miracle Hill’s #ThriftFashion movement. Simply join hundreds in the greater Greenville area by donating and shopping like-new garments, shoes, and accessories.

But don’t take it from me. Allow me to introduce Thrift Chic, local thrift fashion bloggers. Their smashing ensembles will do all the talking and help bust more than one myth:

We are Nina and Sherrica with THRIFT CHICWe partnered with Miracle Hill Thrift Stores to bring our fresh, classic, and unique styles to you.

First we would like to share our experience and our love for thrifting. So why do we love thrifting ? Good question. Essentially its simply affordable, helps the local ministry, and there is an array of styling possibilities. Our goal is to show others the true benefit of thrift shopping. Fashion is attainable for any budget. Whether your style is classy, traditional, funky, or modern you can obtain the look at Miracle Hill.
