The Glider

Linda and her younger sister Wanda spent 904 days in foster care, most likely at the Miracle Hill Children’s Home. She and Wanda were adopted by a loving family in 1958, and later discovered that they had two older siblings they knew nothing about. This is her story of adoption, homecoming, and being reunited with lost siblings. Miracle Hill carries on the legacy of the Children’s Home today by providing a Foster Care program as well as a Foster Care Community to meet the needs of displaced youth.
