The Power of Vulnerability with Sharon and Ryan

By October 20, 2022December 2nd, 2022No Comments

Vulnerability is necessary.

Yet, many of us weren’t taught how to actually practice vulnerability. And maybe you, like many people, feel stuck in a place where you want to be vulnerable, but you don’t know how to begin a practice of vulnerability.

For Sharon, learning to sit with her feelings was the heart work that opened the door to vulnerability.

For years, Sharon wrestled with understanding her own emotions, and she never felt able to share her deepest thoughts and struggles with anyone else. Sharon had unmet needs, stuffed down inside.

These unmet needs led her down a path of substance abuse. But drugs isn’t the end of her story…

This episode covers the ups and downs of Sharon’s earlier life and reminds us of the need we all have to understand who we are on the deepest levels.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30
