Pray for the Ministry

• Filling of open positions in foster care, with individuals who have a heart for the Lord and a desire to minister and serve His children and families.
• Funding for the Ministry of Foster Care
• Support for the Foster Care Community with resources, time, and talents
• Referrals of children for whom we can care
• Stability and Resilience for the children in foster care

Please pray:

• God will prepare the hearts of the men he wants to enter the program, and lead them to us
• They will feel the Presence and Love of the Father when they enter the Overcomers Center
• The men will repent of their sins and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior (or re-commit their lives to Christ)
• The men will find the commitment, strength and courage through Jesus to remain in the program for 7 months
• The men will experience inner-healing through the power of the Gospel
• They will feel safe and loved by the staff and volunteers at Overcomers
• They would commit to forgiving those who have wounded them, and asking for forgiveness to those they’ve wounded
• Our men would develop a love for consuming the Word of God
• The men will witness the miraculous provision and transformation God provides at Overcomers, and believe that God wants to do the same for them
• Our men would graduate from the program with complete healing and peace
• Once graduated from Overcomers,  they would utilize our transitional housing program and live a life that honors God

• To help us to not lean to our own understanding but acknowledge Him in all our ways.
• To help the hearts of our staff and guests to be fully surrendered to Christ.
• For healing for staff, guests and volunteers battling sickness and disease.
• For deliverance for volunteers family members suffering in addiction.
• To cleanse our hearts from all unrighteousness so we may serve him well.
• For a spirit of humility and servitude.
• For His divine will and plan to be fulfilled with our expansion.
• for the strength to stand and be victorious against the enemy’s tactics and schemes.

Please pray:

• God will prepare the hearts of the ladies that He wants to enter the program
• They will be powerfully drawn to Renewal Wade Hampton (RWH)
• They will feel the Presence of the Holy Spirit when they enter RWH
• The ladies will repent of their sins and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior (or re-commit their lives to Christ)
• The ladies will find the commitment, strength and courage through Jesus to remain in the   program
• The ladies will experience the peace and healing power of Christ
• They will feel safe and loved by the staff and volunteers at RWH
• Their bodies and minds will become strong and healthy while here
• Our ladies would develop a love for studying the Word of God
• The ladies will witness the miraculous provision and transformation God provides at RWH
• Our ladies will successfully complete both this pre-program and the minimum 7 month program at Renewal
• Once graduated from Renewal, they will commit to living in Transitional housing for at least 6 months

Please pray:

• For the women who are here to accept Christ as Savior and begin to grow in Him.
• For our guests to witness the power of prayer as God meets their needs here at the shelter.
• For the ladies to find steady employment to help them gain independence.
• For the ladies, as they leave us, to continue to seek God.
• For the ladies to find safe and affordable housing as they prepare to leave.
• For the children that we serve to learn about Jesus and how He loves them.
• For the children in our care to feel safe and loved.
• For staff to have the wisdom, strength, and heart to see these women as God sees them.
• For the protection and health of our staff.
• For God’s continued provision of food and supplies for our residents.

Please pray:

• God would bring men experiencing homelessness to our doors with a heart that is ready for change
• The men in our crisis shelter program (first 30 days) would engage with the physical & mental help they need in order to commit to more long term solutions
• Our counselors would be uplifted, strengthened & filled with the Holy Spirit to walk with & counsel our men on a daily basis
• That dead, hard hearts would be revived to new life in Christ
• The hearts of our men would become good soil & produce fruit as they walk out their faith in God daily
• Those suffering from mental disorders would receive the help & care they need along with God’s Promise of Peace
• God would open doors for long-term employment & housing solutions so that these men will walk in a purpose-filled life
