Strengthening Families

The Family Ministry Center serves as a hub for Miracle Hill’s Foster Care team. It provides a warm, safe, non-threatening space where children, birth families, foster families, counselors, therapists and other service providers can meet and have safe visitations.

At FMC we dive deeper into the needs of both children and adults. Often the adults in care in our rescue missions and recovery centers are estranged from their own children. Many birth parents also desire to reunite with their children, but don’t know how. That is why the FMC offers parenting classes and trainings, and provides a safe place for families to meet in a nurturing environment. Many times through this process, families are restored and marriages are strengthened.

For children, we show them they matter, and are loved as they come into care. We provide quick mental assessments and provide support to help foster families offer the best care possible as children enter the family. An on site therapist provides one on one therapy. And we have a bright, child friendly room for visitations and even birthday parties.

Now faith, hope, and love remain — these three things — and the greatest of these is love.
