Miracle Hill Ministries

Guiding Hurting Children & Adults Towards Stability & Christ

What We Do

Miracle Hill Ministries is a nonprofit organization in the Upstate of South Carolina dedicated to providing extensive services to adults in the form of food, shelter, clothing, counseling, personal development, and addiction recovery. We also serve children who have been removed from their families through our children’s homes and residential foster care programs. As an evangelical, gospel-infused mercy ministry, Jesus Christ is at the center of all that we do.

Our Mission

Miracle Hill exists that homeless children and adults receive food and shelter with compassion, hear the Good News of Jesus Christ, and move toward healthy relationships and stability.

Our Vision

That each Upstate South Carolina county has adequate and accessible resources for children, women, and men who are experiencing homelessness; and that compassionate services point individuals to Christ and move them towards wholeness, stability, and healthy relationships.

What We Believe

Our Doctrinal Statement

We Believe…

  • The Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, inerrant and authoritative Word of God. 2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet 1:20-21
  • In the deity and humanity of Jesus Christ; that He was born of a virgin; that we are redeemed by His atoning death through His shed blood; that He bodily resurrected and ascended into heaven and that He will come again in power and great glory to judge the living and the dead. Eph. 1:7-10; Acts 1:9-11; Mt. 1:23-25; 1 Cor. 15:1-8; 2 Tim. 4:1
  • That regeneration by the Holy Spirit by grace through faith is essential for the salvation of lost and sinful people. Tit. 3:4-7; Eph. 2:8-9; 2 Cor. 6:2
  • That the Holy Spirit unites all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and that together they form one body – the church. 1 Cor. 12:12-13; 1 Cor. 12:27
  • God ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood or adoption, and that God’s design for marriage is the legal joining of one man and one woman in a life-long covenant relationship. Gen. 1:26-28; Eph. 5:21-6:4; Mt. 19:4-6
  • God creates each person as either male or female, and these two distinct, complementary sexes, together reflect the image and nature of God. Gen. 1:27; Gen. 2:18

Living Out Our Mission in Jesus’ Name

Helping People Move Into The Light

Each year, Miracle Hill Ministries provides safe shelter for thousands of children, women, and men experiencing homelessness, serves thousands of warm meals to people who are hungry, and leads recovery programs for women and men who have fallen victim to life-dominating addictions.

With the help of generous donors and volunteers, we have become South Carolina’s largest and most comprehensive provider of homeless services.

But in the end, it isn’t about us. It’s about Him.

Jesus said, “I am the vine, you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

Jesus Christ is the center of all we do. We recognize that we are utterly dependent on Him for not only physical provision, but for the regeneration and transformation of lives. Every life is precious in God’s eyes and has great worth. But because of sin, we are all broken and in need of a savior.  Jesus meets physical needs, but He meets our even greater need to be reconciled with God. Out of that reconciliation flows reconciliation with each other.

Miracle Hill is continuing Christ’s ministry of reconciliation.  Whether we are helping people experiencing homelessness, discipling individuals suffering from addiction, or providing comfort to those who have been wounded and neglected, Jesus makes all the difference.
