Sally Love (Chair): Paragon Worldwide
Sally Love is Founder and President of Paragon Worldwide, a consulting firm specializing in collaboration and team effectiveness. In addition to serving on the Board, Sally contributes her time and talents to Miracle Hill through strategic planning facilitation with the Miracle Hill leadership team. Sally earned a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University and an MBA from the University of South Carolina. Sally and her husband, Bill King, live in Taylors, SC and are members of Locust Hill Baptist Church in Travelers Rest. They have four adult children and seven grandchildren.
Linda Robertson co-founded Baby Superstore in 1971, helping take the Company public in 1994 and serving as its President and COO until retiring in 1997. Linda is a member of Praise Cathedral in Greer, SC. She is dedicated to Christian and children’s causes for which she established a foundation that focuses on these very special needs. She has lived in Greenville, SC since 1970.
Jon Chilton: BB&T
Jon Chilton is the Market President for BB&T in Greenville, SC. He has served BB&T in South Carolina as a Commercial Relationship Manager and Regional Corporate Banker since 2006. Previous to BB&T, Jon worked for Grubb & Ellis | Wilson Kibler, Inc. in Columbia, South Carolina with both the Commercial Brokerage and Property Management Teams. Jon is a graduate of the USC, the BB&T Leadership Development Program, the South Carolina Bankers School and Leadership Columbia. He also serves as the Treasurer for the Greenville Chamber of Commerce. He and his wife, Erin, have four amazing children and are members of Woodruff Road Presbyterian Church.
Bruce Dodds: All Trans, Inc.
Bruce Dodds owns and operates All Trans, Inc., an automotive transmission repair and parts supply company located in Greenville, SC. Bruce and his wife of 35 years, Susan, attend Fellowship Greenville and have been involved in various ministries in their 30 years in Greenville. Bruce has been involved in the Miracle Hill Cycling Challenge since its inception and is glad for the opportunity to serve on the board. Bruce is a graduate of LeTourneau University (where he met Susan), and they have four children and three grandchildren.
Mike Dowling: Southern First Bank
Mike Dowling has served as an Executive Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer of Southern First Bank since 2011. He has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry. Mr. Dowling was previously employed with KPMG LLP from 1994 until 2011, including most recently as an Audit Partner (2005-2011) and a member of KPMG’s Financial Services practice. Mr. Dowling has extensive experience working with public companies and financial institutions. He is a 1993 graduate of Clemson University, with a degree in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mike is a member of Fellowship Greenville.
Bruce Gray: Greenville Health Systems
Bruce Gray practices in the Greenville Health System as a vascular specialist and Professor of Surgery in Vascular Medicine with the University of South Carolina School of Medicin. Bruce is an Associate Editor for several medical journals and is President of the American Board of Vascular Medicine. He has served as a medical missionary in Mexico, India, Chad, and the Central Africa Republic. Bruce enjoys cycling and believes Miracle Hill’s cycling event connects with the mental, physical, and spiritual dimensions of real church life (gathering of people, seeking Christ, loving others). Bruce and his wife, Debby, have 4 grown children and are active members of Fellowship Greenville.
David Holmes: Holmes Law Firm
David Holmes has served on the Board of Directors of Miracle Hill Ministries since 1983. He served as Board Secretary in 1986 and 1987 and as Chair from 1989 to 1992. He was awarded the Policy Maker Volunteer of the Year in 1991 by Volunteer Greenville for his work on Miracle Hill’s Board. He received his BA degree from of Bob Jones University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He has practiced law in Greenville for 34 years. David and his wife, Connie, attend First Presbyterian Church, Columbia, SC.
C.E. Lawton: Dixie Lumber
C.E. Lawton and his wife Rachel are active members of Fellowship Greenville where they enjoy serving children in the nursery. They have been married for 36 years and have five adult children and one grandchild. Since 1985, C.E. has owned and operated Dixie Lumber Company in Easley, South Carolina. He also has experience as a former member of Miracle Hill’s Board.
Kip Miller and his wife, Kim, both natives of Greenville and members of Grace Church, are the primary owners of Eastern Industrial Supplies, Inc. and Eastern Power Technologies, Inc., with multiple branch locations across the Southeast. They have a profound interest in Eastern Cares, launched in 2002, for the purpose of providing helping hands of service, with the ultimate goal of having a positive impact upon the lives of others and making the world a better place.
Mike Miller: PlanFIRST
Mike Miller, CFP®, is the principal of PlanFIRST Inc., an asset management and financial planning firm in Greenville, SC. He graduated from Bob Jones University with a degree in accounting. Mike became a Qualified Kingdom Advisor to provide a Christian perspective on financial planning and investing. He hosts a live, call-in radio program, Talking Money, every Saturday morning 94.5 The Answer in Upstate South Carolina. He enjoys golfing and relaxing with his wife, Cathy, and their four grown children. Mike and Cathy are active members at Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church.
Alison Shubert: Southside Christian School
Alison Shubert is a member of First Baptist Simpsonville where she is actively involved with the C-4 Small Group Ministry. She and her husband Jim have 3 children. Her children attend Southside Christian School where she serves as the Upper School Coordinator for the Volunteers in Partnership program and is the lead coordinator for SCS Independent Parent Group.
Ben Worley: Northwestern Mutual
Ben Worley is married to Courtney and they have two young children Lucy and Robinson. He has a financial practice with Northwestern Mutual where he focuses on building enduring relationships with his clients in order to help them make fantastic decisions with their finances. Ben has been a support of Miracle Hill since 2013 and is excited to see how God uses this organization to serve His kingdom.
